1974 - Oppression in Lynn

The Lighthouse Cafe, 776 Washington St, Lynn, MA

Patrons feared harassment and violent events at the Light House Cafe. Safety was always a concern. For example, lesbians at the Light House Cafe would match up with gay men so as to look like a straight couple before exiting the bar as a safety precaution.
