2012 - Queer Lynn Scene Panel

Lynn Museum, 590 Washington St., Lynn, MA

Queer Lynn Scene (QLS) originated in 2020 under the leadership of Ana 'Masacote' Tinajero, with the primary goal of spotlighting the queer community residing and working in Lynn, MA. In June 2022, the QLS team collaboratively initiated a week-long series of events named United Lynn Pride (ULP) in partnership with various organizations and committed community advocates already engaged in LGBTQ initiatives in Lynn. Following the successful culmination of the week's activities and extensive discussions with community leaders involved in the ULP project, the QLS team made the strategic decision to seamlessly transition the initiative into a comprehensive adoption of the ULP title later that year. Subsequently, they formally established the non-profit entity known as United Lynn Pride.
